RESPONSE
installation
Project Response aims to design a collective 2D drawing session between four designers and investigate their responses to each other through their interpretations of the final designed image. The design process was held in three phases, which were (1) recording, (2) analysing, and (3) constructing. Throughout the sequential drawing session, an abstract image emerged as the real model. The next step was the identification of the responses of designers within the computational realm. To classify this information, firstly, the initial parameters were defined as ‘colour’ and ‘shape’. Depending on the sequentially recorded process, ‘time’ was determined as an additional parameter to layer this information. An interactive process is designed to observe various responses via the computation.
